Cody Druin
28-year-old Cody Druin of Burlington has been arrested by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of theft over $500.
Sheriff Steven Haynes says that Druin was arrested on December 26th for stealing gas and diesel fuel from a business in Biggsville. In the course of that investigation, evidence was found that tied the suspect to an earlier theft of diesel fuel and an electric pump. According to the press release, the first theft took place in October of 2018.
As a result, Cody Druin is facing an additional charge of theft over $500 and is being held in the Henderson County Jail. Should the suspect be convicted he faces up to ten years in prison and a $25,000 fine.
